Video Clips

Ok, so I have edited some clips of the event and have posted them below. The link should take you straight to the file and you can just press download. Having run out of space of my current provider I’ll posting files on filefront as its free storage.

Preparation - How the runners prepare for their Race For Life
Designer - A chat with the designer of the Kylie costume
A Race In 3 Parts - The start, the nearly finished and the end of the race
How to spot a Katie - Why feathers are always a good idea

The quality is not great but I have shrunk it enough so it shouldn’t take up too long to download

Winner

Here’s a selection of Katie’s Race For Life pictures. She did the time in just under an hour 56mins I believe and raised an amazing £235.26! I also filmed the event and will be putting on clips later on so come back here and check tomorrow

Oh What A Night

Last night was part of Katie’s all week birthday celebrations. It was quite impressive after getting tickets to go and watch Don Quixote (I know its not spelt write) and leaving after about 15mins we then decided to try and drink the bar dry while indulging in the free food, beer and wine The Rep (theatre where we saw DQ) offers. So after about midnight and when sensible people should have gone home (including me as I had to get up at 5am today for a flight to Dublin) we went to the Tap & Spire until two. I had stopped drinking at midnight but everyone was going strong.

I have since had about 3 hours sleep and am knackered. But I think I should do a few shout out just in case the people I was talking to decide to check my blog. Ben, Rachel, Mark (he has ginger side burns), Richard, Rita (who along with Katie ripped to shred these boys who decided to sit with us) and Simon.

I’m Back

Yes greating everyone I’m back after my trip to Scotland full of vigor and such. Just a brief update as I’m putting together a new podcast which I plan to have done by Wednesday. I’m now 26 but loving it, I received many nice presents and cards which cheered me up no end. Including the lovely cut out of Anakin Skywalker who makes sure that I get my work done.

My Nan’s funneral has now been and past and its was a lovely service and I cried a lot.

And I also have a new hobby now, camping. Being one with nature, wearing flip flops and putting as much distance between me and computers has done me the world of good.
