While Jon and I were in the Apple Store in Regent Street, London. I took a couple of photographs using a MacBook and the software Photo Booth. What do you think?

So I haven’t posted in a quite a while manily because its been due to work and I have been travelling quite a lot at the moment Blackburn, Bournville and Epsom to name a few. I have also just been fully innocluated for my trip to India, which I’m both excited about and slightly nevrous at the same time. This trip will be the first time in my working life where I have had an extended holiday period (e.g., more than say 10 days) and i’ll be completely unreachable for 17 days, come on! Katie has done a brilliant job organising it all and sorting out the finances she’s flatout fullstop amazing.
I’m looking for a new job badly, after a meeting a work we found out that there’s a huge restructure in the company and I will be end up in service (please not I have nothing against service, its just not were I wanted to be). I’m gainfully employeed for another year but I want out ASAP. I haven’t enjoyed what I have been doing for the past 4 months and I think it will only get worse. So far I haven’t got any interviews (I’ve been applying for a fair few jobs) but after getting a dicsouraged by it all, Katie (again being amazing) gave me a pep talk and has been really supportive in the whole process. I know that the right job will come along I just need to keep looking.
Speaking of Katie she has decided to give up smoking and has signed up with one of the NHS Stop Smoking Clinics, she’s been given these patches to wear but they are a lot stronger than the amount she would usually have smoked in the day. They are supposed to be worn for about 16 hours however after 7 she felt so sick she had to remove it. We’re both hoping that the patches will make her feel so sick that she just won’t want to smoke
I went to see the new Bond film on sunday. I thought that Daniel Craig is really good as Bond and there’s some great stunts but the thing is that the premise of the film is really a bit flimsy, I though it was good but not great.
Katie and I are off to stay in London over the weekend with Jon and Amelia so I’m looking forward to having some fun.

As I started up firefox this morning after switching off my pc suddenly last night I found that all my bookmarks had completely disappeared! Google sync didn’t help as it just re-synced all my bookmarks and by doing this cleared them as well. However after a quick bit of searching I found this handy how-to, to restored them. I followed the restoring bookmarks from backup option. You can find the details here.

A while ago (I’m not sure if you remember) I was down in the office migrating laptops over to active directory. To prove I actually do some work the IT Manager (Simon) took a photo of me and Thomas hard at work (look at all those laptops). Thomas is the tallest German in the world and although he looks quite small he is in fact really bloody tall and this is clever camera trickery which is messing around with perspective!

As I always like to inflict that I like onto other people, I have been playing around with some of the features of Google Reader (my bestest RSS reader ever) and have created a shraed page of news items that I think should be shared with the world or at least the 12 of you that read my blog. The link is here or you can find it via the links of the right hand side of the page.
