Get In! My new phone arrived today a shiny new Sony Ericsson w880i. Its soo pretty and small far better than the brick that I had in my pocket before. Anyway a built in feature of this is blog this option when ever you take a picture. So I have setup a new mobile 24randomthoughts-mobile. So add that to your bookmarks and when I’m out and about taking pictures I might make a post.

I like girls and I like techie geek things put those thing together and I’m hooked. Here’s just two of such techie girls that I like
Leah Culver:

Having stumbled upon her after this following post I was interested in what she would next. She used to work at instructables.com however she has moved on to working at Webshots and hosts a show called wink. She’s a developed (or in her own words a lazy developer) and recently made quite a funny posting on her blog about how some PHP could be mistaken for making a bomb.
Natali Del Conte
Natalie has been around as a journalist for a while which means that at some point I’ve read some of her articles but then I really never bother to read who writes them! When I was looking around at btpodshow.com for some new podcasts I found this podcast called textra. Liking to get all the tech news there is a found Natali. Having been on the staff of some PC magazines, she then went on to join TechCrunch. However in December 2006 she left and has recently started up textra on podshow. The show is twice weekly and follows consumer technology closely.

Since I’m leaving Sartorius, which means that I am going to lose my broadband access for quite sometime and at the moment I access through someone elses Wi-Fi. I have found myself using portableapps.com much more of recently. I always though it was a slight novelty to carry this USB stick around with all my emails but I must admit since I am having to jump from machine to machine at the moment where access isn’t always easily available having USB drive with all my gmails, calendars, firefox with all my bookmarks synced using foxmarks. Its a dream. I guess I never realised how much I personally rely having a loads of bandwith. So I like me you move around a lot then get yourself a good sized stick (mine’s 2GB) and install portableapps…..now. For more details click here.

Well I had an interesting thing happen yesterday, as I was driving home from Cadbury’s I got a puncture. As I was very nearly home I drove home. Having never had a a puncture before it was slightly scary damn car was wobbling about the place like no ones business. Anyway after I got home the car the tyre was ruined so I’m waiting for Gez to show me how to replace a tyre and guess i’ll call the rental company.

I forgot to mention the other day that Katie and I inspire by our trip to India have decided to do more stuff. Slightly generic but they way bother with constraints. So from 20th April Katie and I will be learning Italian as a taster to see if we like it and also in August (I believe) we are going to the V festival in Stafford. Big stuff seeing as only recently I have just been to my first concert and now I’m going to a festival.

Ok sorry I haven’t made any posts in a while, I’ve been traveling quite a bit and also during the middle of last week my bandwidth was cut as I was using too much (I had a usage allowance of 60Gb a month and for the past 3 months I was using 83Gb) so I could only get access of 14Kb/s which is back to dial up days. Anyway a lots happened went to see Ricky Gervais’ show Fame, had a good Paddy’s night, decided on going to Paddy’s night 2008 in Hew York, stayed in quite a swanky hotel in Bristol, saw my mum and dad and my giga kart arrived for my DS.
I hope to be posting a bit more regularly now that I’m coming up to the finish of my job only 7.5 working days to go. not that I’m counting.

What a funny man and what a good show. I think that Fame has to be the best entry he has made on to the stage for one of his shows ever. The warm up act (his mate Robin Ince) was just as good and I think when he tours I’ll go and see him!
