I have never see so much crammed into such a tiny space in the boot of the Toyota. I’ll put a picture in my 30 a Day set on flickr.

I know its been quite a while I’ve been flitting between work and my Vista PC, which as I have mentioned has given me great pains. I’m back to XP now and everything works like it should.
Katie and I are off to V at the weekend, which we’re naturally quite excited about having both never been to a festival before (I’ve only ever been to one gig in my life as well, gig’s are old hat for Katie as she’s been to loads) We’ve got all the equipment we need tent, air mattress, sleeping bags, chairs, gas stove. At the moment we are trying to get all our clothes to squeeze into a tiny bag and I’m also planning to squeeze some pot noodles into the bag as well. Katie suggested pasts and pesto which would be yummy but I’m sure I read somewhere in the terms and conditions of the tickets that you have to eat pot noodles
I’m looking forward to having a little time with Katie she’s been working mega hard of late and is quite stressed with the re-opening of town hall. She’s far much more diplomatic about things at work because as soon as she tells me what the artists and people are like at work. I often want to go in and give them a slap and say get over yourself and get your job done. Maybe I’m not a people person

Well I decided last night to rid myself of Vista and have gone about it in totally the wrong way. After taking a copy of my files I just tried to install XP on top of Vista. It didn’t work, at all in fact after reinstalling XP and rebooting to load the rest of the install process I get a really lovely screen of coloured pixels on the screen.
So I though to myself I know I should reinstall it on the second drive and just live with it on an E drive. Same lovely coloured pixels, I even tried to repair the MBR and still no joy. I’m hoping that if unplug one of the drive and do a complete (full) reformat it might work. If it doesn’t, I have no idea as to what I will do and not have a working PC at home is causing me to have internet withdrawal. Damn you Vista and also damn myself for being heavy handed in the whole approach and not doing a little research before hand.

Crappy, crappy, sucky, crash prone piece of turd. I’m going back to XP and Ubuntu. So that’ll be a lovely 4 hours to spend
