Well after finally waiting for a dummies solution, I jailbreaked my ipod touch last night using http://jailbreakme.com it was a completely painless process and I’m very happy with the results.  Plus more importantly it still syncs with iTunes.  Sorry for the poor quality photo it was taken from my phone.

Holly crap if this isn’t the coolest thing ever. I have fallen in love with it, now I need to try and figure out is how to get third party apps on to it.

So after the disappointment of there just not being enough iPod Touches available, I decided to indulge in a bit of geeky thing and combine programming Lego and purchased a one of the Lego Mindstorm kits. Now as promised I took some unboxing photos (sorry for the quality I took them at work on my phone) and after 20mins I built my first robot, which didn’t do much apart from play a small beep and then spin around the room.  Nevertheless I was full of paternal pride and I’m looking forward to making useless robots that can fire thing across a room or act as some sort of webcam thing or even have a massive robot arm attached to my desk which I can use to things at the person sitting next to me.  Yes it would seem that my only limits would be the number of ways I could injure someone
