Apple Convert

Well someone has “loaned” me a iBook G4 for the week and I’m having a little play. I’ve got it admit is great I love it. Its nice and small, lightweight a crisp screen and one of the most perfectly designed pieces of kit I’ve ever seen.

I’m not allowed to install on software on it :( which is a shame as I wanted to see how that whole side of it worked. Well I could always install something and then uninstall it again…(shh don’t tell anyone). Because its an iBook there’s no web cam built into it which is probably a good thing as I’m sure I would have wasted 3 hours in photo booth and theres no time machine or stacks to play with but its brilliant. Plus I already feel smug for using it in the way that only mac users can. I’m gonna get Katie to take a picture of me using this.

So now all I need to do is speak to Katie and see what she says about getting one to replace the Windows box…..

Behaviour

I would like to apologise to everyone there my appalling behaviour on Friday 25th Jan 2008. It was quite uncharacteristical to be like that.

There’s Something In The Air

Well Apple have had their Keynote and brought out the MacBook Air and while I do think its a pretty looking device I won’t be purchasing one.  I’m nopt quite sure how your actually “borrow” a PC’s drive to install software and the fact that its completely sealed bothers me slightly.  I wouldn’t actually go poking around inside a mac (well maybe for a quick look) but the knowing that I definably can’t bugs me somewhat and makes me to look inside even more.  I think that if I ever get round to picking one up that I’ll go for one of the low end macbooks.   I still haven’t seen the keynote I’m just reading all the coverage and watching some podcasts, as soon as I get home I’ll be jumping straight onto youtube and watching.

The Dogs

I’m quite excited as this evening Katie and I are off to the Dogs in Perry Barr, I’ve never been before so I need to go and brush up on all the terms. Don’t want it to took like I have no idea what I am doing

Trying Different Things

We got this little booklet in The Independant on Sunday, which describes the no diet diet. It seems as though its all about ways of braking habits that you have formed over time and also brake the eating habits associated (I think I actually haven’t read it but Katie has, I just like the picture on the cover) so you have to agree to do something different. This week I have planned to write a story and also planned to see a sporting event (Katie and I have both agreed to do this so we are gonna and see the dog racing in Perry Barr, which is just down the road).

I’m quite looking forward to the dogs but I have no idea what to write about….
