As I knew I would, Japan has turned out to be an amazing place one of stark contrasts (if you can get out of Tokyo), flashing lights. Lots and lots of flashing lights! More Manga than you could shake a stick at and people going crazy for the legalised form of gambling that is called pachinko. The halls that contain these machines are stupidly loud and full of people smoking cigarettes.
Katie and I have enjoyed some great curry and cheesecake next to Fuji-San (Mt Fuji), ridden on some the coolest trains in the world, navigated the underground and bought trains tickets (not an easy feet). We`ve had some great udon noodles and also some sort of food that I can only describe as some weird tasting cold pickled cabbage, not nice! Walked along rivers and seen temples. Walked past a fish market and used a toilet that open the lid as I appoached and when I had finished my business it flushed itself automatically. I`ve seen the washing machines of the future and they are big and also look a little like an egg (everything has a egg with it over here, it seems). Tried a McHotDog for breakfast because thats what they sell in Maccy D`s here for breakfast and also tired lots of different Japanese beer.
I hope that I will be able to come back again its been ace and I still have one more day to go.
