On Thursday, after the show Katie and I went to see avatar in IMAX 3D (yes thats how the pronounce it). I have to say it lived up to the hype in everything except the story. It is a beautifully stunning film to watch, colours popping out the screen, objects flying past the screen. What I was really pleased about was that the 3D was used to enhance the story telling rather "Oooh here comes a object which is going to pop out of the screen and make you jump".
Because we got there just before the film started we were sitting right at the front of the screen so we did have sore necks after a while (the film is about 2 and half hours long). I also find that at some points during the film there was so much going on that I kinda zoned out during points, the sound was incredible. If you have the chance go and see it 3D even better in IMAX
