I’m lazy, yes there’s no denying it I’m lazy. I had a look at the site the other day and its been along long time since my last update and as usual I must apologise.
On the upside I have managed to get my pocket pc up and running again and also, syncing thunderbird and calendar.
This means that I can write my posts using my ipaq when I can’t get to a pc. Just get over it. I’m a geek
Well so much has happened since my last post. New ipods, I’ve been to see Billy Connolly (he was very funny),had a great time at V oh and I’m going to watch WWE at the NIA in October.
Anyway as I seem to promise every 6 months. I plan to stay on top of things.

I know its been quite a while I’ve been flitting between work and my Vista PC, which as I have mentioned has given me great pains. I’m back to XP now and everything works like it should.
Katie and I are off to V at the weekend, which we’re naturally quite excited about having both never been to a festival before (I’ve only ever been to one gig in my life as well, gig’s are old hat for Katie as she’s been to loads) We’ve got all the equipment we need tent, air mattress, sleeping bags, chairs, gas stove. At the moment we are trying to get all our clothes to squeeze into a tiny bag and I’m also planning to squeeze some pot noodles into the bag as well. Katie suggested pasts and pesto which would be yummy but I’m sure I read somewhere in the terms and conditions of the tickets that you have to eat pot noodles
I’m looking forward to having a little time with Katie she’s been working mega hard of late and is quite stressed with the re-opening of town hall. She’s far much more diplomatic about things at work because as soon as she tells me what the artists and people are like at work. I often want to go in and give them a slap and say get over yourself and get your job done. Maybe I’m not a people person

So as I think I mentioned below I’ve joined the virgin gym by Star
City as part of the package I get some personal training sessions
thrown in. So I got up this morning went to meet the my trainer, Dave
and sat down him about what I wanted to achieve.
As a start he took my blood pressure and I did go into a bit of white
coat syndrome. He took it twice but I’m convinced that if he had took
a few more time then it would have setteled back down. So as its high
for the gym (although the average should be 120 for gyming it they
reckon 140 / 70 is ok) I have to go and see my doctor and get him to
sign something to say that’ll be ok for me to train. The reason for
that being that they aren’t medically trained and they just want
someone to say yay or nay for me.
Annoyingly I was really looking forward to have a programme created
for me, but because or my blood pressure I have to wait and see my doc
which means I’ll probably won’t get back round to seeing Dave again.
Ironically the best way to get my blood pressure down is exercise but
I can’t because (well I will I just won’t a new programme to work from
so I’ll use an old one instead).
I must admit though I’m now a bit nervous about seeing my doctor just
in case anything is wrong! Hopefully its not but as the case I’ll let
you all know as soon as I do.

Well as you all know I enjoy geeking out once in a while but since I
have started my new job I’ve found it quite difficult to get proper
geek time organised. However last night I finally download Ubuntu 7.04 Feisty Fawn.
I’ve been waiting for this release for quite a while as its supposed
to have better wireless support it. Anyway I booted from the CD and
ran it on my main PC and I was quite shocked to find that it worked
with my ATi graphics card! So all I have to do now is create a new
partion and hopefully triple boot my system without an issue!

Well first off, I’m sorry that its been soooooo long since I last
posted its been a little mental, switching broadband, getting use to a
job and working. Its been a bit poor on my part I’m planning to get
myself into some sort of routine. Here’s a round up of whats been
happening:
Sky broadband is now active, my camera is broken, my mum just had a
birthday, project sunflower is massive and next week Katie and I are
off on holiday to Greece.
However the really big news is that Katie and I are engaged and are
planning on getting married sometime next year. Yes thats right I
finally popped the question and she said yes after crying at me twice
for about 15 mins
So now that I’m emailing my posts up expect a few a week on a much
more regular schedule.
Speak to you later
J
I forgot to mention the other day that Katie and I inspire by our trip to India have decided to do more stuff. Slightly generic but they way bother with constraints. So from 20th April Katie and I will be learning Italian as a taster to see if we like it and also in August (I believe) we are going to the V festival in Stafford. Big stuff seeing as only recently I have just been to my first concert and now I’m going to a festival.

What a funny man and what a good show. I think that Fame has to be the best entry he has made on to the stage for one of his shows ever. The warm up act (his mate Robin Ince) was just as good and I think when he tours I’ll go and see him!
