Knackered
Well that was probably the longest drive I’ve ever done. I just completed a 6 hour drive (it should have been 4) to Redruth, Cornwall. There was some sort of an incident on the M5 on which caused junctions 13-15 closed and all the motorway traffic had to take a small diversion through some lanes and various A roads. This added an extra 2 hours to my journey and has pretty much thrown my plans out this evening as I had hoped to get a gym session in (but looking in the hotel book they charge to use the gym!) and also do some work. Oh well at least they have got wifi so can at least do a bit of surfing anyway.

Its Finished
Finally the Kitchen is complete after two and a half weeks, we now have new coloured walls, wood work, grout and more importantly a nice new floor! So what do you think…?

Play.com Launches PlayDigital DRM Free Music Downloads
Play.com (one of my favourite sites) has now launched a DRM free MP3 download service. From what I have seen it has only been launched today so at the moment the pickings are slim, but its cheaper than iTunes and its DRM free. Album prices start at £4.99 and individual tracks start from 69 pence. If Play get a few more labels involved and increase the size of its catalogue then it might be an early blow to Amazon before they launch a DRM free UK service. PlayDigital

I’ve Finished My Apple
Sadly I’m going to have to say goodbye to the borrowed apple mac as it has to go back with Katie to her work, we had some good times and they will always be special.
Apple Convert
Well someone has “loaned” me a iBook G4 for the week and I’m having a little play. I’ve got it admit is great I love it. Its nice and small, lightweight a crisp screen and one of the most perfectly designed pieces of kit I’ve ever seen.
I’m not allowed to install on software on it 
which is a shame as I wanted to see how that whole side of it worked. Well I could always install something and then uninstall it again…(shh don’t tell anyone). Because its an iBook there’s no web cam built into it which is probably a good thing as I’m sure I would have wasted 3 hours in photo booth and theres no time machine or stacks to play with but its brilliant. Plus I already feel smug for using it in the way that only mac users can. I’m gonna get Katie to take a picture of me using this.
So now all I need to do is speak to Katie and see what she says about getting one to replace the Windows box…..
