Well that’s it, Katie and I are now off for our hols and I think we both deserve it. Currently sitting in departures while I watch people hover round the Apple section if Dixons (still can’t believe the price they charge for stuff, go to aria.co.uk or even Argos)

As you can see by the picture I’ve already got into the swing

ESP Radio Birthday

A most awesome event occurred on 12th August 2010 between the hours of 6-8pm, we celebrated our one year of doing the show and loving every moment of it. It was a bit of a free form show (I won’t lie) it probably should have been better organised but it was excellent. We had loads of guest come to visit @cybrum, @chimerax, @povster, @collet87, @domster, @banksy9, @daneed4 and @karmadillo all pop by and join in our most execellent games of True & False to win glamours prizes (its worth to hear @ChimeraX and @Banksy9 go head to head in the competition, the questions were brilliant).

We had loads and loads of cakes, sweets and beer so a major thanks to everyone who brought goodies in, both Steve and I had an excellent evening and without a doubt our best show ever. A big thanks to everyone who listens and as long as you listen we’ll keep doing it. Wanna see some photos, well ?

Katie’s 30th Birthday

It was Katie’s 30th at the weekend and we all had a fantastic time. Starting with a picnic in the park with all the family and friends (the photo is from the cake my mum had made for here).

Everyone had a to bring a something to eat with them and I’ve never seen such food, we had to bring some of it home, if you need any sausage rolls or a meat selection give me a bell

After that Katie and I spent the night at the malmaison, living it up like a couple of swells. Sunday was a glorious relaxing affair with a good breakfast, a spot of shopping, wondering in and out of various galleries and topped of with a combo massage and facial for Katie. She really didn’t want the weekend to stop and neither did I to be honest

So happy birthday beautiful, I love ya lots and looking gorgeous xxx

I’ve decicded to learn how to write an iPhone App

So after having my gorgeous little iPhone 4 for about 3 weeks now it’s safe to say that I love it, it’s brilliant, I’m unsure how I managed to survive without it

The more I use it the more tempted to write an app for it, or should that be learn to write an app for it. I know about OO programming but am very limited in an objective C experience at all (it turns out it’s based on smalltalk, which is probably the worst language ever written and still gives me nightmares when I think about it). As the first step of learning iPhone development I thought I would make this outward statement of intent (that way maybe anyone who reads this can stay on my case to make sure I’m on target), hence this post about it all.

I’ve setup new category on the blog and I’ll be posting about all the references and tips that I pick up and share them with you all (because sharing is caring).

So this is the first step to fame and fortune on the App Store, I’m glad you’ll be joining me.
