Hi,
My name is Jamie Garner and as my tag says above above geek/coder/husband is about right really, this is my personal blog* and I can often be found messing around with the theme and various wordpress plugins and widgets. I’ve been messing around with this series of tubes called the Internets since about 1995, about the time when you could get a permeant IP from Demon Internet by sending off 12 cheques a year at £11.75. I’m a geek, I love geeky things and when I can force myself to concentrate write some pretty good code (well I’m happy with it!). I’m also a freelancer programer/IT consultant/social media enthusiast.
You can often find me at one of the social media meet ups in Birmingham, although not originally a Brummie (my hometown is Wellingborough) I have started to develop an affinity for the place. An avid coffee drink and (sadly now) causal gamer if I have any spare time you’ll probably find me somewhere in a cafe messing around on my Macbook. I also like taking photos.
