Things are picking up [...]]]> Its been a funny couple of weeks, I’m readjusting to working back at home.  Its not great but as long as I keep to a routine and making sure I still leave the house and go to the gym I won’t put back all the weight I’ve lost and also keep my mind.

Things are picking up for me nicely I’ve got one or two things bubbling and if you know me well you know what that means.  Planit is becoming a strange unknown entity for me know as I feel totally isolated from the company.  I still keep in touch with the other guys I work with over Skype but its definitely not as good as seeing them every day and also I miss the camaraderie  of working with other people.  I’m quite sure Planit don’t care as they are probably saving loads of money, I mean I haven’t actually spoke to my manager (I’ve had an email but not a telephone conversations) in about 3 weeks, nice that!  I’m just wrapping up a project that I’ve been working on and the future looks barren so I’m going to have to find some work out there and ring around customers (cold calling, which I don’t particularly like doing because I hate being on the end of those calls).  I’m still out there looking for new and other opportunities which are a bit more exciting career wise, its slight sad in a way that I left the job at Sartorius to go work somewhere I could go to an office and develop professionally but have now ended up working in VB6 and back at home, I have to start brushing up on .Net as thats know where all the jobs are.

But as always I have a plan.
